My name is Jordanne Swanson and I am a communication and public relations student at the University of North Florida. After graduation, I would like to pursue a career that fully utilizes and challenges my resourceful skills.

I am currently a full time student, while simultaneously working a full time job. I am very involved throughout the Jacksonville community, and fully committed to helping those who are in need. Having worked in the customer service industry for the last 8 years, I am a very personable person, and love making new connections with people. I have worked as a marketing and PR administrator for a restaurant called Culhane’s Irish Pub. As an admin I handled all social media accounts, as well as gaining experience planning and coordinating all of the events hosted. Through my administrating position I developed expertise in many marketing strategies, as well as handling social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

I am skilled in programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. With these skills I am able to help add creativity and that ‘original flare’ to any marketing designs for promotional purposes.

While I do not have my heart set on a specific career path, I am focusing on completing my degree with hopes that it will take me where I am supposed to be. I am a very open minded and optimist individual who advocates for living in the moment. Instead of stressing about what is to come, I welcome every new day with its opportunities to do something great. I strive to expand my experiences as well as my knowledge. I desire to someday find myself in the music industry helping to promote and spread the joy music brings.
